Assemble at the airport and
take-off to Bari, capital of
southern Italy’s Puglia region.
Upon arriving in Bari, transfer to
Alberobello to explore the
enchanting fairy-tale town,
famous for its UNESCO-listed trulli.
These unique 14th-century stone
huts with iconic conical roofs are
found exclusively in the Itria Valley.
Start by visiting the Church of St.
Anthony, the world's only ancient
church shaped like a trullo. Then,
stop at Trullo Sovrano, the sole
two-story trullo transformed into a
museum. Next, enjoy an authentic
culinary experience at a family-run
farm, learning to make traditional
Apulian mozzarella. Delight in a
variety of special cheeses,
accompanied by a light lunch and
local wine. Finally, proceed to
Matera for an overnight.
Explore another UNESCO World
Heritage Site in Matera as you
embark on a guided exploration
of the extraordinary Sassi. These
ancient troglodyte dwellings and
rock-carved churches are the
Mediterranean's most extensive
examples and were once home
to around 20,000 people until
1950. Visit to Casa Grotta and
other fascinating sites that
transport you back in time to
ancient eras.
Indulge in a day of leisure to
explore the surroundings at your
own pace. Opt for an optional trip
to the captivating island of Capri,
where you can enjoy scenic views
on a minibus tour, browse
handicraft stores in Anacapri, and
soak up the lively atmosphere of
La Piazzetta. In the evening,
embark on an overnight ferry
from Naples to Palermo.
Optional: Capri Tour with Lunch
Upon reaching Palermo, embark
on a morning city tour of the
vibrant capital of Sicily. Discover
notable landmarks such as
Piazza Bellini, Porta Nuova (City
Gate), and the Cathedral of
Palermo. Next visit the Palatine
Chapel and admire its exquisite
mosaics and artwork. Continue your journey to the charming
fishing town of Cefalu. Take a
leisurely stroll towards the
medieval stone fountain and

arch of Porta Marina, where you
can capture a picture-perfect
view of the picturesque harbor.
Finally, head to the hilltop city of

the night.
Visit the Valley of the Temples, a
UNESCO-listed site renowned for
its Greek art and architecture.
Explore the impressive Temple of
Concord and the clifftop Temple of
Juno, offering stunning sea views.
Continue to the charming town of
Taormina, where you can enter the
iconic Teatro Greco, an ancient
amphitheater with Mount Etna as
its backdrop. Take a leisurely walk
along Taormina's cobblestone
streets, admiring Taormina
Cathedral and Palazzo Corvaja, the
former seat of the first Sicilian
parliament. Conclude your day
with a relaxed stroll along Corso
Umberto, Taormina's main street,
leading you to Piazza IX Aprile.
Embark on an unforgettable
adventure at Mount Etna,
Europe's highest and most active
volcano. Begin by taking a cable
car to 2500 meters, then
continue with 4x4 off-road buses
to reach an altitude of 2900
