DAY 1

HOME - AMSTERDAM (Meals on Board)

Assemble at the airport and take-off to Amsterdam – the capital city of the Netherlands.

DAY 2

AMSTERDAM (Dinner - 3-Course Half Lobster)

Start your day by visiting the A'DAM Lookout to see Amsterdam from a whole new perspective. Head up to the 360° sky deck to take in spectacular views across the city and its surroundings. For those of you who are daredevils and thrill-seekers, you can get your adrenaline rush with Europe's highest swing, 'Over The Edge,' which dangles you 100 meters above the ground, back and forth over the edge of the tower with Amsterdam below your feet. Next, you can enjoy the beautiful Dutch capital by cruising through the canal district before visiting a Diamond Factory. Spend the rest of the day at Dam Square and admire the National Monument, Royal Palace, and New Church. Note: there may be limited access to the Skydeck due to maintenance without prior notice.

DAY 3

AMSTERDAM (Breakfast)

This morning, visit the windmill village of Zaanse Schans, situated on the banks of the river Zaan and home to original 18th and 19th-century architecture, including several still-functioning windmills and wooden houses. Watch live demonstrations of artisans at work, including a clog maker crafting wooden shoes worn by Dutch people for hundreds of years. In the afternoon, you can enjoy some leisure time or choose to join an optional trip to the old harbour and colourful houses of the traditional fishing village of Volendam. Optional: Volendam with lunch

DAY 4

AMSTERDAM - COLOGNE - FRANKFURT (Breakfast, Dinner - Pork Knuckle + Beer)

Travel to Cologne, where you'll have the opportunity to view the magnificent Cologne Cathedral, the largest Gothic church in Northern Europe with its 157-metre-high twin towers. Afterward, spend some time shopping before continuing on to Frankfurt. Explore the charming Römerberg and Alte Stadt districts of Frankfurt.

DAY 5

FRANKFURT - HEIDELBERG - COLMAR (Breakfast)

Travel to the Rhineland to view the ruins of Heidelberg Castle, one of the most important Renaissance structures north of the Alps. Then explore the Baroque-style Old Town with its bustling market squares and colorful facades. Afterwards, head to the picturesque city of Colmar for the night. Optional: Lake Titisee in Black Forest with cake & drink

DAY 6

COLMAR - DIJON (Breakfast, Lunch - Tarte Flambée, Dinner - Japanese-Chinese Buffet)

After breakfast, embark on an orientation tour along the narrow winding streets of the historic Old Town in Colmar, littered with medieval houses dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. Don’t miss a visit to Petite Venise, an incredibly pretty spot where unique half-timbered Alsatian houses line the waterway as it winds through the city’s old fishmonger district. Then, travel to Dijon to stay overnight.

DAY 7

DIJON - LA VALLÉE VILLAGE - PARIS (Breakfast)

Today, head to La Vallée Village for your long-awaited shopping spree at this luxury shopping haven, which boasts over 100 brand boutiques selling everything from clothing and cosmetics to shoes. With discounts of up to 70% off from prominent brands like Prada, Furla, LongChamp, Gucci, and Fred Perry, it's unlikely that anyone will leave empty-handed.

DAY 8

PARIS (Breakfast, Dinner - French Cuisine + Wine)

Begin your Paris tour by taking in the sights of Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde, the iconic Louvre Museum with its Louvre Pyramid, and the Palais Garnier Paris Opera House. Stop at the Arc de Triomphe, a famed monument erected in honor of soldiers who fought in the Napoleonic Wars. Then, view the cultural icon of Paris, the Eiffel Tower, before heading over to Galleries Lafayette, the biggest department store in Paris, for some souvenir shopping.

DAY 9

PARIS (Breakfast)

Enjoy a free day at your own leisure. You may wish to take up some recommended activities, such as an optional full day Paris tour that includes a walk through the Montmartre neighbourhood, hop on to scenic seine river cruise before head over to the 19th-century Samaritaine iconic department store Paris for latest collection shopping. Optional: Paris Full Day Tour with Chinese Lunch

DAY 10

PARIS - HOME (Breakfast, Meals on Board)

Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure till it is time to transfer to the airport for your flight home.

We did some research before signing up with EU holidays. What I like about this 11D Netherlands / Germany/ France tour which was led by Tevin Sua is that it offers a good combination of guided tour with some flexibility of free and easy. In a way, you get the best of both worlds. The whole trip had been well organized and Tevin had been so so so helpful throughout the whole trip. He made efforts to ask us where we would like to venture and visit on those free and easy days, and we were given good recommendations. One bonus we had was that, Tevin brought us to try their local metro trains and bus! What an experience! He checked on our safety very often and ensure everything is in good hands. This was my first time joining a tour. I always plan my own trips hoping that the vacation would be free and easy. I had always thought that tour group is old fashioned, and I wouldn't like travelling with a group of people.But this trip has changed my perception towards tour group. Tour group can be fun and free too.
