Assemble at the airport and depart for Istanbul,a unique city that’s built on two continents, Asia and Europe.
Upon arrival, start the Imperial city sightseeing by visiting the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, magnificent monuments to two competing world religions standing peacefully side by side. Next, see the remains of Hippodrome of Constantinople, which consists of 3 monumental columns and a fountain. Visit the Topkapi Palace, the residence of the Ottoman Sultans and enjoy a picturesque lunch on its grounds with a view overlooking the Bosphorus Strait. Afterwards, proceed to Bolu for overnight stay. Note: Blue Mosque is closed until 2.30pm during Friday prayers.
Depart for Bolu via Ankara and embark on a sightseeing tour of this capital city which will include the magnificent Ataturk Mausoleum. Photo stop at the second largest lake in Turkiye - Lake Tuz, which is well-known for containing the world highest salt and surrounded by plateaus. Continue our way to the unique landscape of Cappadocia.
This morning you may consider a famous Turkiye experience – Hot Air Balloon ride over the most extraordinary landscapes or a Jeep Safari tour at your own expense (subject to weather conditions). Start full day tour of Cappadocia, make photo stops and view Pigeon Valley and Uchisar Castle. Visit the Goreme Open- Air Museum, a World Heritage site with fascinating cave churches and biblical frescoes. Stop by the Monks Valley (Pasabag) for some memorable photos at one of the most picturesque spots of Cappadocia. Enjoy local specialty pottery kebab for lunch at a restaurant overlooking the valley. Continue on to Kaymakli Underground City, once a hiding place for early Christians escaping Arabic persecutors. Lastly, visit a Jewelry Center where you can admire the handcrafted natural stones. When night falls, adjourn to a local restaurant for a captivating belly dance show with unlimited snacks and drinks.
After breakfast, visit a Turkish carpet showroom before leaving Cappadocia. En route, stop at an old caravanserai dating from the 13th century before arriving in Konya to visit the Mevlana Museum. Here you will learn about the sect of the whirling dervishes. Proceed to Pamukkale where you will end your day with a relaxing soak in a hot thermal pool.
Pamukkale is also called the “Cotton Castle”, because of the white, cottony appearance of the mineral bath spas that abound the province, which is rich in calcium. Explore landmarks such as the Ruins of Hierapolis, iconic White Travertine Terraces and take a dip in the mineral-rich hot springs. Then leave for Ephesus, the best-preserved ancient city of Asia Minor. Admire the impressive ruins of the Library of Celsus and the famous Temple of Artemis. Continue to visit the House of Virgin Mary, a place believed to be where Virgin Mary spent the last years of her life. Make a pit stop at the Turkish Delight and Apple Tea Outlet before journeying on to Kusadasi, a popular coastal town on Turkiye’s Aegean coast.
Begin with a visit to a Turkish Leather showroom. Then travel to the ancient city of Pergamon to see the impressive Acropolis, which dramatically sits on a hill to the northeast of the town. Take a cable car up the hill and relish the sights of impressive temples, the library, theatre and arsenals. Next make your way to Troy to see the Trojan horse, a huge hollow wooden horse constructed by the Greeks to gain entrance into Troy during the Trojan War. Thereafter, enjoy a leisure drive along the coast to Canakkale.
Depart Canakkale for Istanbul via the longest suspension bridge in the world. The 1915 Canakkale Bridge has reached completion in Turkiye with a span of 2,023 metres, becoming the longest suspension bridge in the world. End with a walk around the world’s largest canopied market - Grand Bazaar to haggle for some 4,000 jewelry, pottery, spices, carpet, and leather stores.

We took the Turkey tour in Aug.. The itinerary was good, with a variety of things to see and do, and no pushy sales at shopping areas. Most importantly, the tour guides, both local (Steven) and from Turkey (Servat), took very good care of me and my mum when we fell sick during the trip. They also accommodated a member's last min request to include balloon chasing tour, which was really nice although I was too sick to join that morning. Overall, enjoyed the tour despite falling sick. Would go with EU holiday again if I am looking for tours! Thanks Steven and Servat!

We joined a 11d8n Turkey tour in Oct 2019. tour leader: wei long local tour guide: Mehmet That's a wonderful trip and we had a great experience. we were impressed with their services and competency of tour leader and local tour guide. Thanks to them, we always got the best view in the hotel. Especially for those with beautiful sea, they purposely arrange an early check-in so that we can enjoy the view. This is all well planned, and we are very grateful especially when we saw someone from other tour company check-in late. what a waste. Food is awesome, the local tour guide brought us to very unique restaurant, not only food is nice but with a very nice view as well. thanks EU Holiday. PS: Buy Carpet and ManuAtelier bag, you will not regret it.

Tour name: 10D7N Amazing Turkey Travel date: 06SEP2019 - 14SEP2019 Tour manager: Kenneth Ng / Rukiye I would like to especially acknowledge some wonderful people who made this trip very memorable. Our Tour Manager Kenneth Ng was very generous and thoughtful, plying us with delectable snacks every morning, chilli sauce and mooncakes to celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival at the Chinese Restaurant on our final night. When I fell and injured my knee both he and Rukiye were very helpful and kind. Kenneth was always there throughout the rest of the trip to offer his strong hand to help with my luggage and help me up & down the coach. He made a special trip to the pharmacy and gifted me with a much needed knee guard for my swollen knee. Both he & Rukiye kept enquiring about my condition. I would also like to thank very much the restaurant manager of the Best Western Premier at Cappadocia who provided me with ice compresses from the time of my arrival to when we departed from the hotel. At breakfast, he sought me out to tell me that he had already given my guide ice compresses which I could use through the day. He even assured me that even if I needed any more, his staff would provide me with the ice compress even late at night. This injury was distressing for me and an inconvenience to many around me, but I saw the best of their sincere kindness, provision and hospitality. Kenneth also stayed in touch with me when we returned to enquire about my condition, advise me and he promptly sent me an accident report to facilitate my medical claims. He is a very meticulous & careful Tour Manager who would send us a WhatsApp message every night to tell us his room#, our itinerary for the following day, predicted weather conditions and what we needed to prepare or how to dress. Kenneth, Rukiye & our driver Mr Sardik were an excellent team that took us safely to visit all the lovely places and share their knowledge of the rich history of the Byzantine & Ottoman empires, the Turkish economy and culture. Rukiye also shared generously from her knowledge of Islamic philosophy, Greek & Roman mythology and readings of Homer's Iliad & The Odyssey. Mine was not the only medical situation on this trip and Kenneth was very attentive to the needs of that person making accommodations to help also. My husband & I would love to travel with Kenneth again.

10D7N Amazing Turkey (8-17 June 2019)was truly an amazing and enriching experience. The itinerary was tight given that we had only 7 nights but was well planned and executed. The local guide was knowledgeable and the hotels and food were excellent. Everything went smoothly. The best was our tour manager, Kenneth Ng, who went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and safety. He made the tour enjoyable! We had a great time. Tnks EU Holidays for this tour.

Tour: 10D Turkey (8 Jun to 17 Jun 2019), Tour Manager: Kenneth Ng. It is my 3rd trip with EU. It is a wonderful trip. I love Turkish food, the hotel buffet dinner is fantastic and the desserts are so good. In Cappadocia the view from the hotel is unforgettable. The local guide is patient, friendly and the driver is so reliable. Our tour manager Kenneth Ng is caring, helpful and efficient. During our 4-wheel drive trip, he bought us cups of hot tea as it was very windy and also raining heavily, thank you so much… And I have a surprise birthday cake for my birthday too… The hotel dinner compensated the long hours of traveling between city to city, anyway, Turkey is beyond my expectation.
