Assemble at the airport for your flight to Vancouver. Upon arrival, head to Kelowna. First stop, let’s go to Canada’s Wine Producer Winery, Summerhill Pyramid Winery. Enjoy some wine tasting with their organic and biodynamic wine. Take a walk around a large, deep fjord lake carved out by repeated glaciations, the Okanagan Lake. You may even spot Ogopogo, whom the monster watchers claimed sightings of it. Visit Davison Orchards Country Village and you will be able to enjoy their locally grown ingredients used in their food preparations (at own expense). Right next door, go and witness the hardworking bees at the Plant Bee Honey Farm.
Depart the Okanagan region and head to Last Spike for a quick photo stop where you will get to see the last spike that was used to complete the Canadian Pacific Railway. Travel on the Rogers Pass as we cross over to Yoho National Park. While in Yoho National Park, get to marvel at a natural rock formation, the Natural Bridge, while on the way to Emerald Lake, which is one of Canadian Rockies' finest lakes. Witness a historical example of engineering ingenuity first-hand at Spiral Tunnels. The tunnels are made up of two vast figure-eight tracks that run through the mountains. Spend the next two nights in Banff.
Start your journey by travelling on one of the top drives in the world, the Icefields Parkway. First stop, Peyto Lake, the most famous lake in Banff National Park which has a turquoise blue glacier-fed lake 40 km north of Lake Louise and is also a popular stop on the famous Icefields Parkway. Head over to the largest icefield in North America’s Rocky Mountains, Columbia Icefield. Go on an excursion by riding on the massive “Snow Coach” onto the Athabasca Glacier before taking a thrilling walk on the Columbia Icefield Skywalk. Next, travel to the Two Jack Lake, a picturesque emerald green lake with a sweeping view of Mount Rundle. The landscape makes it a great place to catch sunset (subject to timing and weather conditions).
After breakfast, proceed to view the spectacular Bow Falls. Hop onto a Gondola Ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain and get the opportunity to witness a 360-degree view of the snow-capped peaks, valley and six mountain ranges. Enjoy a breathtaking view from the Sky Bistro Restaurant while having your lunch (at own expense). Visit the “Jewel of the Canadian Rockies”, Lake Louise, and the world-renowned Moraine Lake, both of which are part of the UNESCO World Heritage due to their priceless natural beauty. View the Valley of the Ten Peaks which is crowned with ten notable peaks. Next, visit the world-famous resort, Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
After breakfast, travel to Kamloops and go on a tour in a Ginseng Factory to learn about the history, value, benefits and usage of ginseng.
Start a Vancouver city tour by first heading to Granville Island. A hotspot for tourism and entertainment, you are in for an eye-opener of how extensive this peninsula and shopping district has to offer and not forgetting to visit the market as well. Enjoy lunch at one of the highly rated restaurants on the island, The Sandbar Seafood Restaurant. Hop onto the Aquabus and you are in for a sight along the False Creek of central Vancouver. Alight at The Village and continue the tour to Gastown, an important part of Vancouver’s history. Head over to one of the most instagrammable photo stops, Steam Clock - a partially powered by steam, antique-style clock built in 1977 that whistles every 15 minutes. Walk over to one of the most photographed and historic spots in the city, called Maple Tree Square. Featuring lovely beaches, miles of well-maintained paved and dirt trails, Stanley Park is recognized as one of the greatest urban parks in the world. Shopping time at McArthur Glen Designer Outlet! With over 80 designer label brands such as Armani, Boss and Coach, you will be spoilt for choice! Tonight, enjoy a delicious Dungeness Crab and Lobster dinner.
You may opt for an optional day trip to Whistler by making a stop to view the Shannon Falls, a fall composed of a series of cliffs and tumbling water. Next, hop onto a Sea to Sky Gondola. Test yourself with a thrilling experience by walking on the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge. Enjoy an astounding panoramic view with a lunch at the Sky Pilot Restaurant (at own expense). Last stop, head to Whistler, a famous resort municipality which once hosted the Winter Olympics back in 2010.
