Schans, where you will be presented
with an idyllic scene of traditional
windmills, barns, cottages, and
museums built in typical Dutch
architectural style. Watch how
cheese and clog shoes are made in
demonstrations by expert craftsmen
skilled in these traditional crafts. In the
afternoon, tour the capital city of
Netherlands, as you explore Amsterdam
on a cruise through her famous canals
before going on a trip to a diamond
factory to learn more about diamonds in one of the world’s most renowned
and historic diamond centres.
This morning, you may wish to make
an optional visit to Volendam, a quaint
fishing town in North Holland well
-known for its traditional costumes
and vibrant Dutch music scene.
In the afternoon, make your way to
Giethoorn, a beautiful, idyllic village
nicknamed the ‘Venice of the North’.
Experience the beauty and tranquility
of this village as you go on a unique
boat ride, gliding along the narrow
canals and under the bridges. During
your free time, feel free to explore the
charming village on foot – stroll past
ancient thatched-roof farmhouses and
tread across old wooden bridges.

After breakfast, drive to Cologne, the
fourth largest city in Germany and
economic capital of the Rhineland.
Embark on a tour of the city – take time
to admire the detailed façade of
Cologne Cathedral, the largest Gothic
church in Northern Europe with its
157-metre-high twin towers. Then enjoy
a stroll to the Old Town to find the
Rathaus, the oldest city hall building
in Germany that is still in use today,
before you arrive at the Great St.
Martin Church. In the afternoon, pay
a visit to Mainz and set off on an
orientation tour with your tour
manager. Step into the Old Town to see
the Mainz Cathedral, Staatstheater
Mainz, as well as the beautiful fountain,

Take a trip to Heidelberg and embark

picturesque city, well-known for its romantic landscape with the towering

Wander through the charming alleys
and squares of the Old Town and
immerse yourself in the unique

stroll along the traffic-free main street
Hauptstrasse, which is bursting at the
seams with cafes and restaurants as
well as renowned branded stores and
small boutiques. After which, head to
the picturesque city of Colmar, situated
in the heart of the idyllic Alsace region
in northeastern France, to rest for the

Today, we will first undergo the
requisite PCR test together as a group.
Thereafter, begin your Paris adventure
with a guided tour of the city – take in
the sights of Champs-Élysées, Place
de la Concorde, Louvre Museum with
its iconic Louvre Pyramid, and the
Palais Garnier Paris Opera House. Stop at the Arc de Triomphe, a famed
monument erected in honour of the
soldiers who fought in the Napoleonic
Wars. Next, view the cultural icon of
Paris – the Eiffel Tower for a panoramic
view over Paris from the second level,
then head over to the Galeries
Lafayette – the biggest department
store in Paris for souvenir shopping.

that departed on 20Nov21 with Sabestian as the tour leader. It was a great
trip, even with consideration with the COVID situation in Europe. Although we
went to many different cities, we still managed to enjoy and take in the
sights of several famous attractions, sometime even having some free time to
walk around. Having Sabestian as our guide was fantastic. Despite not
travelling for 2 years as well, he was still able to share practical advise
and tips and things to look out for such as directions and safety. He was
able to navigate around efficiently and even helped is to get the best
experience despite the various restrictions (even without SG vaccination
status included in the EUDCC). A knowledgeable tour leader really helps to

I was on 11D Netherlands/ Germany/ France tour on 20th November 2021 & it was an enjoyable tour. Our tour manager Sebastian Mak is very caring and patient towards all of us.He guided us through the many documents that were required during this VTL travel.
