Assemble at the airport and depart for Munich, the capital of Bavaria.
Once you arrive, make your way to the town of Fussen and see the Neuschwanstein Castle (view of the exterior only). It is one of the most popular castles in Europe. The biggest draw is the Neuschwanstein castle, which was built as a place of retreat for the King Ludwig II, and transformed into a medieval dream world filled with all of his longing and ideals. Thereafter, drive on to Wattens and stop by the Swarovski Crystal World, a glittering fantasy world housing the world’s biggest crystal, before proceeding to Salzburg for the night.
Discover the beautiful setting of the famous film “The Sound of Music” in the city of Salzburg. Waltz through the lush gardens of Mirabell Palace, and visit the birthplace of the famous classical music prodigy Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at No. 9 Getreidegasse. Continue on your walking tour to the Old Town of Salzburg to admire the ensemble of baroque and medieval buildings, and drop by the magnificent Residence Square with its beautiful fountain. Transfer to Hallstatt, a village in the Salzkammergut, a region in Austria. It is located near the Hallstätter See (a lake). In the evening, head to the ‘city of music’, Vienna. We recommend an optional concert at any of the famous concert halls for your evening’s enjoyment.
Embark on an unforgettable excursion to the romantic capital of Austria, Vienna. Step foot into the renowned Schönbrunn Palace and revel in the stunning interior of the massive 1,441-room baroque complex – think white porcelain tile stoves, exquisite bohemian crystal chandeliers and white-lacquered ceilings and walls covered in gold leaf ornamentation. Then, continue to the glorious Ringstrasse with its wealth of parks and monuments, the State Opera house, the majestic Reichsrat Parliament Building and Rathaus (city hall), and the Hofburg Imperial Palace. End the day with a visit to one of the most important Gothic structures in Austria – St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Afterwards, carry on to Budapest, the capital of Hungary for the night. Along the way, visit the Designer Outlet Parndorf for a spot of shopping
Get to know the true culture of Budapest, also known as the ‘City of Baths’ through a guided city tour that will help you pack as much as possible into your exploration of the city. The first stop of the tour is the renowned Matthias Church, one of the oldest buildings in Budapest with over 700 years of history and frescoes created by famous Hungarian painters. Next, head up to Gellért Hill for some of the best panoramic views of the entire city. Continue on to Fisherman’s Bastion for a view of the beautiful turrets, see the impressive Heroes’ Square and the Millennium Monument located in its middle, and stroll along the fashionable shopping street, Váci Utca. In the afternoon, enjoy a Danube Cruise lunch. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner while being entertained by a Hungarian folk show.
Start your day with a scenic drive to Kraków. Cross over the border into Slovakia and travel through Donovaly and past the Tatra Mountains. Proceed to the renowned Wieliczka Salt Mine, a world class monument of Poland that was added to the UNESCO’s World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. Steeped in several hundred years of history, the mine was worked on by tens of generations of Poland miners. Embark on a magical journey through the saline labyrinth to learn more about the history and traditions of Wieliczka, and get a closer look at the various salt formations and deposits.
Take a trip out of town to the infamous Auschwitz Concentration Camp for a historical tour. Auschwitz was Nazi Germany's concentration camp, its main purpose was to carry out the extermination of Jews through forced and demanding labour, mass executions, and human experiments. In 1979, Auschwitz was recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2007, UNESCO named the camp "Auschwitz - Birkenau German Nazi concentration and extermination camp (1940-1945)". Embark on a half day walking tour of Kraków and see its captivating medieval structures. Visit the Gothic-Renaissance Wawel Royal Castle, and venture down to the historic Old Town to explore Europe’s largest market square along with medieval houses, palaces and churches. Marvel over the spectacular interior of St. Mary’s Basilica and the medieval masterpiece of the Cloth Hall. ** Note: In the event that we could not visit Auschwitz Concentration Camp, we will reimburse each pax 80SGD Eu Voucher **
Continue to Wrocław, the historical capital of Lower Silesia in Western Poland. The town is perched upon the Odra River along with the veritable maze of islands and bridges that have earned it the nickname ‘Venice of Poland’. Mill about the Old Town of Wrocław, a remarkable area filled with Baroque splendour that was painfully reconstructed after WWII. Next, have a blast at the vibrant Market Square, which is bursting at the seams with cafes, restaurants, shops and hotels.
Make your way to Berlin and start your day with a half day city tour. See the beautiful Unter den Linden, an elegant boulevard in the heart of Berlin connecting the Brandenburg Gate. Drop by the Reichstag (exterior view only), the seat of the German Parliament that reflects the tumultuous history of Germany. Next, visit the famous East – West German border crossing Checkpoint Charlie, which is also the scene of various thrillers and espionage novels. Last but not least comes the main highlight of the tour : the Berlin Wall. Trail along the double row of cobblestones that formed the symbolic boundary separating the democratic East Berlin and West Berlin.
Today you will head to Prague. Make a pit stop at Dresden along the way to enjoy art treasures, architectural sights and alluring landscape. Explore the city on foot for a tour of the Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche), the Semper Opera House, the Zwinger Palace and the Saxon Wall. You may wish to join the excursion to Bastei. Continue to the capital of the Czech Republic – Prague, known as Praha.
Begin with a half-day walking tour of the city nicknamed the ‘City of a Hundred Spires’. Get an up-close look at the famous Prague Castle and the symbolic structures housed within it – the state’s spiritual symbol St. Vitus Cathedral, the best preserved Romanesque church St. George’s Basilica and the Old Royal Palace. Cross the iconic Charles Bridge and proceed to the Old Town for a glimpse of the Astronomical Clock, one of the greatest treasures of the city. Then head towards the last stop of the day – Wenceslas Square, the vibrant social and commercial centre of Prague.
Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure till it is time to transfer to the airport for your flight home.
We hope you enjoyed your vacation with our company. We look forward to seeing you again for your next trip.

I am sending my sincere and heartfelt thanks to John Foo for his excellent service during our recent Eastern Europe Tour (28 March to 9 April 2018)He took the extra task to remember and arrange all the special meals for many of the tour members without any additional cost.He gave me a big "birthday" surprise by taking the trouble of a long walk to a local bakery to buy a cake for me.When he noticed that I had a really bad sore throat, he gave me two pieces of his last lozenges he had with him. He is such a nice and kind person as he should have kept it for himself knowing he also got a bad throat. He is dedicated, passionate, caring and always go the extra miles to make each of the tour members happy and well being.I would gladly like John as our guide again if the opportunity arises.Well done, John Foo!

This was my first time traveling with EU Holidays and we (8 of us) had no regret with our choice. Merit to be given to our Tour Manager which made our trip so enjoyable and memorable.John was friendly, patience, responsible and humorous too. It was never bored traveling between places. He was chatty to get the tour members to bond together. He never failed to remind us to take guard of our belongings. Providing daily morning calls and weather update so that we will put on appropriate clothing to keep oneself warm. He also informed which money changer offered the best exchange rate as we need to change local currency in Hungary, Poland and Czech Republic. When I was unable to get the Czech money on time, he loaned some to me first. He went the extra mile to dapao food for some. He made surprised Birthday celebration for one of the lady on her birthday. When this lady was down with sore throat, I saw him quickly offered his last 2 tablets of Lozenges. The tour was well paced due to his flexibility. We are looking forward to travel with EU Holidays for our next destination.

A tour manager can make or break your trip. Yes, you didn't read wrongly. Our tour consisted of 47 pax. The largest group I have ever joined in a single tour group. The credit should definitely go to our tour manager Roger Koh and our bus driver Andrzej whom had even driven us around during Christmas.Although we had a bad experience with the company (EU Holidays) before the start of the trip, Roger managed to salvage it which had turned the situation around. He ensured that we had an enjoyable trip, at the same time, making sure we do not fall sick in the cold weather. Before arriving at destination, he would constantly remind us to put on our thick jackets before stepping out of the bus each time. To the extend we felt he was a lil naggy (kidding).Few days before departure, he had created a Whatsapp group to inform us what on what to bring, as well as the weather condition. We truly appreciated that as during the briefing, nothing was confirmed by then. Honestly, the briefing was a waste of time as the representative could not even confirm on the hotel details and attraction places though it was less than 2 weeks to go by then.He tirelessly ensuring all our meals were served before he started his meals. At the same time, he will ensure all arrangements were made in accordance to our preference although it was time consuming. Every night, he will update us on the weather forecast to prepare us on what to bring along the following day.Daily snacks were provided by him at own expense and in order to save time, he paid for our rides as well due to bad weather condition as he explained that it would be dangerous for us to even walk in the snow.It is such a great asset for EU Holidays to have such a good tour manager. Roger had certainly went above and beyond his call of duty to serve and provide us an unforgettable experience. Kudos Roger Koh! Way to go!

Thanks Lynette Lee for your delication, hard work and care for all of us in this trip. After 12 years of traveling with my family during the year end holidays, we have met many travel managers, but by far you are the best and most responsible tour manager we have ever met. We are fortunate to have had you take care of us in this wonderful East Europe 13 days trip (2-14/Dec/17). Your good arrangement has made our trip most memorable and enjoyable. Good luck in your future endeavors. Cheers!
