Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport and depart for Munich, the capital of Bavaria.

Once you arrive, make your way to the town of Fussen to view the Neuschwanstein Castle, which was built as a place of retreat for the King Ludwig II and transformed into a medieval dream world filled with all of his longing and ideals. Thereafter, drive on to Wattens and stop by the Swarovski Crystal World, a glittering fantasy world housing the world’s biggest crystal, before proceeding to Salzburg for the night.

Discover the beautiful setting of the famous film “The Sound of Music” in the city of Salzburg. Waltz through the lush gardens of Mirabell Palace, and visit the birthplace of famous classical music prodigy Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart at No. 9 Getreidegasse. Continue on the walking tour to the Old Town of Salzburg to admire the ensemble of baroque and medieval buildings, and drop by the magnificent Residence Square with its beautiful fountain. Next, proceed to Hallstatt, an incredibly gorgeous village that sits along the banks of Lake Hallstatt in the mountainous region of Salzkammergut. The salt mines in the mountains above the village has made Hallstatt world-famous, along with the glistening views of the surrounding lake and mountain peaks. Later, journey on to the ‘city of music’, Vienna, as the sun goes down. We recommend an optional concert at any of the famous concert halls for your evening’s enjoyment.

Embark on an unforgettable excursion of the romantic capital of Austria, Vienna. Step foot in the renowned Schönbrunn Palace and revel in the stunning interior of the massive baroque complex – think exquisite bohemian crystal chandeliers and whitelacquered ceilings and walls covered in gold leaf ornamentation. Then, continue to the glorious Ringstrasse with its wealth of parks and monuments, the State Opera house, the majestic Reichsrat Parliament Building and Rathaus (city hall), and the Hofburg Imperial Palace. Last but not least, end the day with a visit to one of the most important Gothic structures in Austria – St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Afterwards, carry on to Budapest,
the capital of Hungary. Along the way, you may make a pit stop at the Designer Outlet Parndorf for a spot of shopping. As dusk descends, enjoy a sumptuous dinner while being entertained with a Hungarian folk show.

Note: Factory outlet close on public holiday and Sunday, outlet replacement is subject to change
without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Get to know the true culture of Budapest through a guided city tour that will help you pack as much as possible into your exploration of the city. The first stop is the renowned Matthias Church, one of the oldest buildings in Budapest with over 700 years of history and frescoes done by famous Hungarian painters. Next, head up to Gellért Hill next for some of the best panoramic views of the entire city. Continue on to Fisherman’s Bastion for a view of the beautiful turrets, see the impressive Heroes’ Square and the Millennium Monument located in its middle, and stroll along the fashionable shopping street, Váci Utca. At noon, enjoy a delightful meals aboard Danube River Cruise that covers the most fasinating sights in Budapest.

Head on a scenic drive to Kraków by crossing over the border into Slovakia to wind through Donovaly and past the Tatra Mountains. Proceed to the renowned Wieliczka Salt Mine, a world class monument of Poland that is among the UNESCO’s World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. Embark on a magical journey through the saline labyrinth to learn more about the history and traditions of Wieliczka, and get a closer look at the various salt formations and deposits.

Take a trip out of town to the infamous Auschwitz Concentration Camp for a historical tour. Get an up-close look at the intricate network of concentration camps operated by the German Nazis during World War II, where prisoners (Jews and other perceived enemies of the state) were killed, tortured and experimented upon. Embark on a half day walking tour of Kraków and its captivating medieval structures. Visit the Gothic-Renaissance Wawel Royal Castle, and venture down to the historic Old Town to explore Europe’s largest market square along with medieval houses, palaces and churches. Move on to visit the Jagiellonian University, Poland’s most revered university dating all the way back to 13th century, and marvel over the spectacular interior of St. Mary’s Basilica and the medieval masterpiece of the Cloth Hall

Journey on to Wrocław, the historical capital of Lower Silesia in Western Poland. The town’s perch upon the Odra River along with the veritable maze of islands and bridges have thus earned it the nickname ‘Venice of Poland’. Mill about the Old Town of Wrocław, a remarkable area filled with Baroque splendour that was painfully reconstructed after WWII. Next, have a blast at the vibrant Market Square, which is bursting at the seams with cafes, restaurants, shops and hotels.

Make your way to Berlin and start off with a half day city tour to get a feel of its dynamic culture and turbulent past. Start with the beautiful Unter den Linden, an elegant boulevard in the heart of Berlin connecting the Bradenburg Gate to the Schlossbrücke bridge. Visit the Reichstag, the seat of the German Parliament that reflects the tumultuous history of Germany, followed by the symbolic Brandenburg Gate. Next, stop by the famous East – West German border crossing Checkpoint Charlie, which is also the scene of various thrillers and espionage novels. Last but not least comes the main highlight of the tour: the Berlin Wall. Trail along the double row of cobblestones that formed the symbolic boundary separating the democratic East Berlin from communist West Berlin.

Carry on to Prague, but make a pit stop at Dresden along the way for their significant art treasure, architectural sights and alluring landscape. Explore the city on foot for a tour of The Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche), the Semper Opera House, the Zwinger Palace and the Saxon Wall. You may wish
to join the excursion to Bastei. We continue our journey towards the Capital of Czech Republic - Prague, known as Praha.

Begin with a half-day walking tour of the city nicknamed the ‘City of a Hundred Spires’. Get an up-close look at the famous Prague Castle and the symbolic structures housed within it – the state’s spiritual symbol St. Vitus Cathedral, the best preserved Romanesque church St. George’s Basilica and the Old Royal Palace. Cross the iconic Charles Bridge and proceed into the Old Town for a glimpse of the Astronomical Clock, one of the greatest treasures of the city. Then head towards the last stop of the day – Wenceslas Square, the vibrant social and commercial centre of Prague.

A tour manager can make or break your trip. Yes, you didn't read wrongly. Our tour consisted of 47 pax. The largest group I have ever joined in a single tour group. The credit should definitely go to our tour manager Roger Koh and our bus driver Andrzej whom had even driven us around during Christmas.Although we had a bad experience with the company (EU Holidays) before the start of the trip, Roger managed to salvage it which had turned the situation around. He ensured that we had an enjoyable trip, at the same time, making sure we do not fall sick in the cold weather. Before arriving at destination, he would constantly remind us to put on our thick jackets before stepping out of the bus each time. To the extend we felt he was a lil naggy (kidding).Few days before departure, he had created a Whatsapp group to inform us what on what to bring, as well as the weather condition. We truly appreciated that as during the briefing, nothing was confirmed by then. Honestly, the briefing was a waste of time as the representative could not even confirm on the hotel details and attraction places though it was less than 2 weeks to go by then.He tirelessly ensuring all our meals were served before he started his meals. At the same time, he will ensure all arrangements were made in accordance to our preference although it was time consuming. Every night, he will update us on the weather forecast to prepare us on what to bring along the following day.Daily snacks were provided by him at own expense and in order to save time, he paid for our rides as well due to bad weather condition as he explained that it would be dangerous for us to even walk in the snow.It is such a great asset for EU Holidays to have such a good tour manager. Roger had certainly went above and beyond his call of duty to serve and provide us an unforgettable experience. Kudos Roger Koh! Way to go!

Thanks Lynette Lee for your delication, hard work and care for all of us in this trip. After 12 years of traveling with my family during the year end holidays, we have met many travel managers, but by far you are the best and most responsible tour manager we have ever met. We are fortunate to have had you take care of us in this wonderful East Europe 13 days trip (2-14/Dec/17). Your good arrangement has made our trip most memorable and enjoyable. Good luck in your future endeavors. Cheers!
