Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport and take-off to the vibrant seaside city of Helsinki, capital of Finland.

Once you arrive, meet up with a local city guide for a sightseeing tour around the alluring city. Drive past the bustling Market Square and absorb its scents, sounds and atmosphere, then drop by the Senate Square for a unique and cohesive spread of neoclassical architecture, where you can take in the sights of the Helsinki Cathedral, the Government Palace, the National Library of Finland and the main building of the University of Helsinki all in one place. Continue on to the Sibelius Monument, a structure resembling organ pipes that is dedicated to world famous composer Jean Sibelius. Last but not least, visit the Temppeliaukio Church, where the interior walls are created naturally by rock, giving rise to its nickname as the ‘Rock Church’.

Enjoy the day free at leisure to explore Helsinki on your own, where there’s plenty to do and see. You may wish to take up an optional excursion to Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia, via ferry for the rich cultural scene and the stunning medieval and historical structures.

Board a domestic flight to Ivalo, a small village in the municipality of Inari in Finland that is home to the northernmost airport in Finland and the whole of Europe. We will drive to up north and cross border into Norway, reaching Kirkenes, a small town but famous for it king crab. Tonight, embark on a phenomenal King Crab Safari with Aurora Hunting, where you will get a chance to catch the Northern Lights and the Arctic King Crab with your own hands (metaphorically, not literally) and learn how to cook and eat these huge creatures that can grow up to 15 kilograms in weight. Depending on the weather conditions, you will head out to the fjord either by snowmobile sledge or boat. Indulge in a hearty dinner and savour the sweet freshness of your king crab.
Note: the appearance of the Northern Lights cannot be guaranteed as it is a naturally occurring phenomenon and is subject to weather conditions.

Enjoy a scenic drive along the way with a gorgeous scenery featuring the snowcapped mountains and crystal-blue fjords of Norway before you cross the border back into Saariselka, Finland. This afternoon, get set for a night of wonder as we make arrangements for you to stay in a comfortable and unique glass igloo for tonight’s accommodation. Be mesmerized by the clear starry skies as you cuddle up in the warm, toasty bed, and admire the unmarred beauty of the surrounding snowy landscapes. If conditions permit and sighting is good, take a walk in search of the Northern Lights with your Tour Manager.

Your day of adventure begins with a visit to a husky dog farm, where you will be greeted with the sight of these friendly and enthusiastic dogs. Discover more about these amazing huskies as well as life on the farm, before taking off on a husky safari where they bring you racing through the layers of snow. After dinner, embark on a thrilling Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) chase as you move around on
snowmobiles through the dark landscape. If Lady Luck is on our side, you will be able to witness Earth’s most magnificent and colourful lights show – a once-in-a-lifetime experience you will never forget.
Note: We are unable to guarantee that you will observe the Northern Lights as it is a natural phenomenon and is subject to weather conditions. Only two persons to each snowmobile, and the driver must be 18 years old and above with a valid
driving license.

Fulfil your childhood dreams as we depart for Rovaniemi, the official hometown of Santa Claus and land of fairytales. Pay a visit to Santa Claus Village where you can peruse through the numerous souvenir shops and send a postcard from the Santa’s Main Post Office to receive a special Arctic Circle stamp. You will also be awarded with an Arctic Circle Crossing Certificate as proof of your journey across the Arctic Circle. On top of that, meet Santa Claus in the Christmas House of the Santa Claus Holiday Village and receive a lasting memory of the meeting in the form of a high quality photo. Last but not least, embark on an unforgettable reindeer sleigh ride and grab the opportunity to earn your very own reindeer driving license. Tonight, join us for a Northern Light Chase by bus and seek out the mysterious green light everyone wants to see. And if luck is with you, get ready for an amazing light show to remember!

Visit the Ranua Wildlife Park, which consists of approximately 50 wild animal species and 200 individuals. Follow a local guide as he leads you around to see bears, reindeers, wolves, gluttons, lynxes, moose, birds and Finland polar bears up close and personal, and learn more about these Nordic and Arctic animals. Make your way back to Rovaniemi to rest for the night.

Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure till it is time to transfer to the airport for your flight home.

We hope you enjoyed your trip with EU Holidays and we look forward to seeing you again for your next trip.

We are so bless to have Sabestian as our tour manager in this trip..Truly an enjoyable holiday with both excellent tour manager and good tour mates. Sabestian is entertaining and very obliging. He volunteered to bring us out to catch the Aurora on our last night in Finland by the river despite knowing the chances are slim and the weather is intensely cold. And against all odds the whole group did manage to witness the magical northern lights again.EU Holidays is fortunate to have such a dedicated, experienced and attentive tour agent as Sabestian. This is our first vacation with EU holidays and definitely will not be our last.

My family and I have just return from the trip and it is indeed a memorable and enjoyable one. Our tour manager, Mr Jeremiah has done an excellent job despite the large tour group. Our group consisted of 30 peoples of different age groups and countries. He has managed the group very well and tried his best to cater to our needs. He constantly shared tips and highlights of the attractions we visit. So to ensure none of the group member would miss out certain scene or purchase any goods that is not worth the price. He is also humor and caring towards the group. He manage to create a bond within the tour group which all of us shared info of places to eat, things to buy, photos etc. With his presence, there isn’t a moment without laughter or joy.Another positive point about Mr Jeremiah, he took the time and effort to film/photo of the tour group with his Go Pro and created multiple montage to share with us. To make the montage even more memorable, he directed a few scenes with the tour group member dancing, cat walk etc.I will recommend anyone to take up this tour with EU Holidays and hope to get some one like Jeremiah.

We Would like to send our appreciation to our tour lead Jeremiah Tan for making our 12 to 21 jan 2018 Finland trip very special with his Creativity, Love & Passion to make someone’s day and Great Humour. He uses his creativity n passion for video making to help all 30 of us capture lovely memories & candid moments during the process of the tour Which was very helpful because memories captured Live in videos n Frozen in pictures are the best souvenir one can embrace in the process of travelling. Moreover some of us were also not technically savvy.Resourceful, he managed to find us a chance to try snow sledging without having to spend a single cent to rent a toboggan during our free time. We all had a lot of fun discovering the new sport!Using his knowledge with social media he was able to advice the team how to utilise them to share their joys of the trip, right up to the typology of pictures to capture that achieves maximum “Likes” in Platform such as Instagram. The entire group had ample time to sightsee and had meals at all the locations because he adjusted the original timing assigned base on our group size and feedback from previous groups on the same tour.In addition, he takes great care of our team member & her family member who got injured during e tour n managed the situation of one of our team member who have to return home early due to urgent personal matters. All these were accomplished without disrupting the pace and activities of the entire group.Congratulations to EU Holiday for having an Outstanding & Passionate service staff like Jeremiah who strives to make every customer’s trip Happy, Memorable, Safe and Entertaining with all his own Creative & Caring personal touches. He is certainly a Hallmark of Service Excellence for his role in the travel industry.Thank you and cheers!

My group joined the 10 day Finland tour departure 29 Dec 2017. The tour was fun with many activities like long husky rides, snow mobile at night and reindeer rides. The keiko igloo and Santa village were beautiful. The staff who handled our booking was Anna Ang. She was very helpful by answering all my queries and making sure all necessary documents were complete. The tour manager was Timothy. He was very experience and resourceful. There were some hiccups during the tour due to sudden problem from local guides. But he managed to solve immediately every time. He was very entertaining with his stories during long bus rides. A lot of good advices about how to wear for the cold and places to eat and shop. We completed the journey with pleasant note, albeit a bit sad that we couldn’t catch aurora due to couldn’t weather. We will definitely go with EU again with Timothy.

Glad to have Sebastian as our tour manager who is very responsible, patient, positive and entertaining. As the main purpose of the trip was to be able to see the Aurora, Sebastian never fail to keep us updated on the weather! & we are lucky enough to see it for two nights :) He was also constantly checking on us, making sure that we are comfortable and our needs are met as much as possible. Knowing that most of us are sick of the food culture there, he surprised us on our last day- Dinner at a Chinese restaurant.Enjoyed every bit of the trip from snowy weather, king crab buffet, igloo house, snowmobile, reindeer and husky rides! Quite a relaxed trip!Overall, we had a memorable time and we sincerely thank you EU and Sebastian for making it a success.

The tour was my first experience to Lapland to see the Aurora Borealis and was recommended by my sister who went for a similar tour last year with EU Holidays. I enjoyed the tour immensely n was able to see the northern lights on 2 occasions in Kirkenes and Rovaniemi. The tour was well organised, smooth and efficiently led by Sebastian who gave very clear instructions and explanation on each of the activities carried out. The group was briefed thoroughly before each activity on when to meet, what to expect and what will happen after the activity. Briefing of the next day’s activity was given the day before, the hotel that we would be staying, the facilities at the hotel and the shopping centres, eating places around. Although we couldn’t see the aurora during our night bus aurora hunting in Rovaniemi due to bad weather, he closely monitored the weather situation and voluntarily took us to the riverside in Rovaniemi on the last night when the sky was clear to see the aurora. It did appear and we were thrilled to be able to see the aurora for the last time before we left for Helsinki n home. Thanks, Sebastian and we greatly appreciate you going the extra mile for us so that we will not be disappointed. Kudos!! Will be glad to highly recommend EU holidays to others and to join its other tours!! Sincerely, Georgie & Alice Ong

The tour manager @jeremiah is an excellent tour guide for our group. He went above and beyond his duty to look after our group like giving us a brief orientation of the city during our free activities time. Giving us reliable and sincere advice on which optional tour or safari activities we could take on. He is polite, humble and attentive to our needs. The last dinner at the igloo 3 course meal is our best meal throughout the whole tour.Once again, thanks for the wonderful Finland tour and successful Aurora chasing...
