Our vacation begins with a pleasant flight from Singapore to the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan.
Upon arrival, start your journey at Hakodate Tropical Botanical Garden, a popular attraction where you can see the Hot-Tubbing Snow Monkeys and the green house, which is the main exhibit. After that, proceed to Hakodate Meijikan, this stately red-brick building was built as Hakodate Post Office in 1911 and is now used as a shopping mall. This evening, head up to Mt. Hakodate via cable car to the top of the mountain to enjoy a panoramic city view. * In case of maintenance or bad weather, the bus will be used to go up the mountain instead.
Begin your day with a visit to Hakodate Morning Market where you can find a variety of delectable fresh Hakodate produce. After that, head over to Fort Goryokaku, a massive, star-shaped Western style citadel built to defend Hokkaido from invasion. Then access the observation deck Goryokaku Tower for a bird's-eye view of the huge fortress. Continue, we will proceed to Ōnuma Quasi-National Park, one of the most beautiful and breath-taking parks. Next, board the Mt Usu Ropeway (cable car) leading close to the top of Mount Usu. The upper station's observation deck offers panoramic views of Lake Toya and Showa Shinzan while the second offer views of the ocean and Mount Usu's largest crater.
