Assemble at the airport and depart for Copenhagen, Denmark's capital, that sits on the coastal islands of Zealand and Amager.
Upon your arrival, find out why people call it “wonderful Copenhagen” by going on a city tour and take in the sights of the famous amusement park Tivoli Gardens, the City Hall Square, Hans Christian Andersen Statue, and Christiansborg Palace. Stop by the Little Mermaid sculpture, which was inspired from the fairytale and the mystical Gefion Fountain. If traffic conditions are fair, we will make an additional pit stop at Nyhavn for some picturesque photos. After which, we will take an overnight cruise to Oslo, the capital of Norway. Note: If the overnight cruise is not available, it will be replaced by domestic flight from Copenhagen to Oslo instead and you will stay an additional night in Copenhagen without incurring any extra charges.
Begin your exploration of the city by visiting the City Hall that is covered with a rainbow of motifs depicting the Norwegian history, culture and lifestyles, as well as the neo-classical structure of the Royal Palace. Last but not least, the Vigeland Sculpture Park is one attraction worth seeing, the life's work of sculptor Gustav Vigeland that features more than 200 life-sized sculptures in bronze, granite and cast iron. In the afternoon, take a scenic drive via the Hallingdal Valley to reach Geilo, a town in southern Norway, which is known for its ski resorts and mountain trails.
Today, we will make a stop at Vøringfossen, the 83rd highest waterfall in Norway for a photostop before continuing to the Hardangerfjord region, the second longest fjord in Norway. The Hardangerfjord is 179 km long and greatest depth is 900 meters. The definition of a fjord is a long, narrow inlet from the sea with steep sides or cliffs, created by glacial erosion during the ice ages. Arrive Bergen, a large Norwegian city with a small-town charm. Your exploration begins with a Bergen city tour - soak up the sights and sounds of the bustling Fish Market in the heart of the city; wander along the narrow alleyways and step into the smorgasbord of shops and galleries in Bryggen; and take the Fløibanen funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen for a fantastic bird's-eye view of the city.
Travel to the region of Voss, consider an optional train ride by the Flåm Railway, and embark on the most incredible train journey where you will be treated to endless panoramas of placid rivers, deep ravines, cascading waterfalls, and mountain farms clinging precariously to snow-capped peaks. You will embark on a 2-hour sightseeing cruise within Gudvangen and Flam on the pristine waters of Nærøyfjord and prepare to be blown away by that spectacular vistas displayed before your very eyes. Nærøyfjord, is the world's narrowest fjord and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Transfer to Skei for an overnight stay.
We will take a scenic sightseeing cruise across the deep blue waters of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, Geirangerfjord. The fjord offers archetypal scenery, encircled by high mountains, where abandoned farms cling to the hillsides. The trip between Geiranger and Hellesylt takes in the Knivsflå Waterfalls, known as the Seven Sisters and Friaren (the Suitor). You will also sail close to the Brudesløret (Bridal Veil) falls. Along the Geirangerfjord, you will experience the very best of Norwegian nature, close up. Drive along Ørnevegen ("the Eagle Road’), name given to the steepest part of the road up the mountainside from Geiranger to Eidsdal, 620 metres above sea level. Here, the road twists through eleven hairpin bends as it climbs up to Stigrøra, 858 metres above sea level. The road is carved into the mountain and supported by stone walls. An impressive bridge carries the road across the Stigfossen waterfall. On this road, even the bravest can feel the adrenaline pumping through their veins. The Trollstigen platform and two viewpoints are designed by Reiulf Ramstad Architects. From the top, well protected against the elements by steel and glass, you can see all the way down the mountainside. The structure is designed so that it blends in with the surroundings. Some parts are carved into the rock, whilst other parts are built on stone walls. Transfer to Oppland County for a pleasant night in the Norwegian countryside. Note: Trollstigen platform will only be available subject to road conditions.
Winter sports enthusiasts will rejoice as we head to the site of the 1994 Winter Olympics, Lillehammer. Make a pit stop at the Lysgårdsbakken Ski Jumping Arena for some magnificent photos from the top of the tower, before exploring Lillehammer on your own. We will then arrive at Gardermoen for the night.
Cross the border to Sweden and reach Karlstad, a city on the Klarälven River in Värmland County, Sweden. It's known for the neighbouring Lake Vanern to the south. The Old Stonebridge is the country's longest Stonebridge and one of Karlstad's most photographed locations. We pass Örebro, a beautiful town in the very heart of Sweden before reaching Stockholm for the night.
Kick off the day with a tour to Stockholm, which will bring you to the Stockholm City Hall. The three crowns perched atop the 106-metre-tall tower forms a silhouette that is instantly recognisable within the city. This romantic structure also hosts the prestigious Noble Prize banquets in its Blue and Golden Halls, with the latter featuring 18 million gold mosaic tiles. Continue to the Old Town to view the magnificent structures of the Cathedral and the Royal Palace. We will also visit the Vasa Museum, located in the Vasa ship capsized and sank in Stockholm 1628. After 333 years on the sea bed the mighty warship was salvaged and is now the world's only preserved 17th century ship and the most visited museum in Scandinavia. Note: Should the main building of Stockholm City Hall be closed for conference, we will only stop for a photo of the exterior.
Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure till it is time to transfer to the airport for your flight home. If time permits, you can consider an optional visit to the Drottningholm Palace, one of Sweden's Royal Palaces, which is situated on the island Lovön.
We hope you enjoyed your vacation with our company and we look forward to seeing you again for your next trip

Tour manager: Chris TeoTour date: 13-23 Jun 2018Tour: 11D8N Sights of ScandinaviaI had a great trip led by Chris Teo. He is a very jovial, responsible, approachable and experienced tour manager. Constantly reminded us to take care of our personal belongings; offered to carry our luggages where hotel lifts not available and at expense of no breakfast for himself; sharing his experiences on places he travelled, histories and stories during the long coach journey; giving us extra photo stops whenever time permits. Another interesting activity is daily exploring the supermarkets which excited most of us.Good job, Chris. Thank you!

Alicia's dedication and passion towards her role were commendable. After a long flight and tiring city tour at Copenhagen, we were looking forward to a good dinner upon checking in to Hotel. To our surprise, the portion served was just too unreasonable and Alicia took the initiative to provide feedback to your company. Thank you, EU for the wonderful Swedish Meatball lunch to make up for the dinner. From the flights, train, cruise and ferry rides, a smooth transition would not be possible without Alicia's great planning. For long bus rides, she took the extra mile to share as much site information to us instead of the usual dead silence from my previous tour. Her site knowledge was well explained and I do inherit a lot from it. That's what I call a "Well Done Tour". I could see that Alicia take customer satisfaction level very seriously. Firstly, during our flight, she will walk around and check on us. When the hygiene level of the lavatory was not up to satisfaction, she took the initiative to feedback to the cabin crew even though this was beyond her job scope. Secondly, the elder on this trip was well taken care of under Alicia's hand. Lastly, she puts in an effort to meet our needs and requests for this 11 days tour. Well done Alicia! Although our baggage was delayed upon arrival in Singapore, Alicia directed us to the Lost and Found office. This is what I call professionalism.  It was a pleasant tour experience. I will definitely come back to EU for future bookings.Thank you. Warmest Regards John Chow

Young but very experienced tour manager who is familiar with the geography and history of the places we visited. She has a sense of humour which kept us entertained throughout our long coach rides. She also kept emphasising the importance of safety during the trip and did her best to fulfil our individual demands The itinerary generally flowed well and there were some additional places that we visited too. I personally liked the Norway itinerary the most, but Sweden and Denmark had their plus points too.Thank you Whyee and EU for making this trip possible!

We'll definitely come back to EU Holidays because of the excellent service from our tour manager, Ricky Tiang. Ricky is one of the best tour guide I have ever met. He is knowledgeable, funny and caring! I had followed lots of tours with different agencies and ALWAYS fall asleep in the bus. Surprisingly, i didnt fall asleep during this tour because of his jokes and fantastic stories about Scandinavia.Beside these, he also brought us to some attractions which are NOT INCLUDED in the itinerary. How amazing he is! Overall this trip is enjoyable and we looking forward to joining Ricky again

11D 9 N Scandinavia (18-28 May 2017) Tour Manager: Ong JiaFu The itinerary was well covered. Hotels n food were generally good except for Chinese food which could be better. Enjoyed travelling with one of the best group members who were punctual, cooperative n helpful to look out for each other. Met the best Tour Manager JiaFu who is very responsible, helpful n resourceful in all arrangements for the whole trip. The tour bus air-con broke down on the very first day. JiaFu arranged for a replacement bus immediately which arrived the next day. We were offered free Wifi throughout the trip to compensate us for the inconvenience on the first day. There was road closure due to snow n landslide on our way to Geirangerfjord. He made last minutes arrangements for detour route n additional two ferry trips to catch the cruise in time including lunch boxes for us to take on the way. The following day to Naeroyfjord, the bus was stopped halfway for inspection by the authority which took almost 90 minutes. We had to rush to catch the cruise n then the train on Flam Railways. JiaFu was seen running around to ensure that we would not miss the cruise n train due to the delay. JiaFu sent us the hotels list before departure including expected weather, reminder on what to bring for overnight cruise, etc. Very detail n caring. He would help us to lug the luggage up or down the stairs where there were no elevators in the hotels. Every night he would send reminder message on next day programme, weather, morning call, breakfast time, departure time.... a bit "luo-suo" but good! Hope to meet him again if joining EU Holidays on our next trip. CHEERS!!!

11d9n scandinavia May 2017 Tour Leader Ong Jia Fu Went with our wonderful tour leader Ong Jia Fu to Scandinavia. Really beautiful place with wonderful landscape! Pros: 1. the best tour leader of all: Ong Jia Fu 2. great weather with beautiful destinations like fjord tours/cruise, flam railway and glaciers! 3. some of the hotels in the mountains with really beautiful surrounding landscape  4. food: was not bad on average, lots of buffets and wonderful hotel buffet breakfasts. but some of the chinese food not quite up to scratch Cons 1. too many destinations. could have cut out oslo/bergen. felt would be nicer to spend 2d each at stockholm n copenhagen. the rest of the time can be spent in norweigian landscape. 2. chinese food was abit :s thankfully only 3 meals. should just cut that out. 3. cruise from bergen to copenhagen not much to see. could be cut out. Special Mention Our tour leader Jiafu was really the best tour leader I ever met. Hes very responsible, plans for the routes few days beforehand and tries to ensure smooth travel despite last min road closures and weather changes. He is also very helpful: he was always around to help carry luggages in older hotels without lifts especially for the ladies or old aunties. I rmb on the first day where my travel adaptor was spoilt, he lent me his through the trip though he only had 2 packed in. He tries his best to answer every question and help us with any issues through the stay. Though he emphasises alot on safety, he tries his best to ensure we are happy. He talks a lot of funny nonsense most of the time, and even pulls us out to dance to help us soak in the fun atmosphere on the boring cruise, and open up. After joining more than 7 tours, I have to say he is the best tour guide I have met! Effort wise, he puts in 200% and I must say the trip was made much more enjoyable and fun with him! 200 marks for Jia Fu! Overall: 4.5/5 grading for this tour. Did not regret joining it!
