Assemble at the airport and depart for Munich, the capital of Bavaria.
Upon arrival, make your way to the town of Fussen and see the Neuschwanstein Castle (exterior view only), one of the most popular castles in Europe. Thereafter, drive on to Wattens and stop by the Swarovski Crystal World, a glittering fantasy world housing the world’s biggest crystal, before proceeding to Salzburg to rest for the night.
Discover the beautiful setting of the famous film “The Sound of Music”. Waltz through the lush gardens of Mirabell Palace and view the Mozart’s birthplace at No. 9 Getreidegasse. Continue on your walking tour to the Old Town of Salzburg to admire the ensemble of baroque and medieval buildings, and drop by the magnificent Residence Square with its beautiful fountain. Then, embark on a quest around picturesque Hallstatt, snugly tucked between salt mountains and translucent lake. In the evening, head to Vienna.
Start an unforgettable exploration of Austria's capital Vienna. Enter the Schönbrunn Palace, a former residence of the imperial Habsburg family. Marvel at its frescoed ceilings, crystal chandeliers and gilded ornaments. Next, ready your camera for a dazzling drive around the famous Ring Road. Ringstrasse takes you past grand Baroque architecture such as the State Opera House, City Hall, Parliament and Hofburg Imperial Palace. End the tour at the stunning St. Stephen’s Cathedral. En route visit the Designer Outlet Parndorf for a spot of shopping. Carry on to Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Note: Designer outlet is closed on Public Holidays and Sundays. Visit is subject to change without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Drive along the elegant boulevards en route to Heroes’ Square. Across the river in Buda, walk with local guide along the medieval cobblestone streets of the Castle district to visit Matthias Church and admire sweeping views from the Fisherman’s Bastion over the exquisite Hungarian Parliament Building and St Stephen’s basilica. Spend time browsing the boutiques on Vaci Street or relax in a sidewalk café. You may wish to embark on an optional Danube River cruise that covers the most fascinating sights in Budapest. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner with wine tonight while being entertained by a Hungarian Folk Show. Optional: Danube Cruise
Today, we’re off to Krakow. Cross over the border into Slovakia and travel through Donovaly and past the Tatra Mountains. En route, spend time visiting the Wieliczka Salt Mine, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descending underground, you’ll walk through 2km of tunnels, chapels, reliefs and freestanding sculptures carved from salt rock walls, along with underground lakes and archaeological displays.
Set out to the harrowing grounds of Auschwitz Concentration Camp. Formerly Nazi Germany's concentration camp, its main purpose was to carry out the extermination of Jews through forced and demanding labour, mass executions, and human experiments. Next, a leisurely walk through the beautiful streets of Krakow and visit the cathedral atop Wawel Hill, see the castle and look for the iconic dragon. Continue through the Old Town with a view of the St. Mary's Basilica and the medieval Sukiennice (Cloth Hall).
Continue to Wrocław, the historical capital of Lower Silesia in Western Poland. Mill about the Old Town of Wrocław, a remarkable area filled with Baroque splendour that was painfully reconstructed after WWII. Then enjoy free time at the vibrant Market Square.
Leaving Wroclaw behind, continue the journey to Berlin. Enjoy city guided tour for an exploration of 'East meets West' and delve into the story behind their reunification. See the imposing Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag building, with its famous glass dome. See the site of Checkpoint Charlie and touch a remaining section of the Berlin Wall to learn more about Berlin’s WWII and Cold War past.
Journey south to Dresden. Take a moment to admire the 'Procession of the Princes' mosaic on the Saxon wall of the castle. You'll also see Frauenkirche, Zwinger Palace and the Opera House. You may wish to join the excursion to Bastei. Continue to the capital of the Czech Republic – Prague, known as Praha. Enjoy a delightful welcome Czech cuisine at the restaurant, where you ‘ll get a spectacular view overlooking the Charles Bridge. Optional: Bastei

Just back from 13 days 10 nights tour to Eastern Europe( 24/9 to 6/10/19) with Mr John Foo as our tour manager. A group of 5 of us joined this group tour and we have a wonderful and memorable trip. Our opinion of John is that though he only cracked jokes occasionally but he is a very friendly and helpful person. I was not feeling too well mid way and he was ready to offer me whatever medications he had with him including “pei pai ku”. As a regular customer of EU, I will definitely continue to patronise your company. John, 加油

We had an enjoyable holiday trip on the 13 Days Highlight of Eastern Europe departing on10 Sept 2019 led by the EU tour manager Sebastian Mak. He is helpful; as we happened to stay at a hotel about 15 minutes walk to the Fisherman's Bastion, after the day trips, he went extra miles by bringing almost 20 of us to Fisherman's Bastion to see the beautiful panoramic night view of the city of Budapest. He also gave informative background and practical tips for Europe tours and shopping. His WhatsApp briefings every evening to prepare the entire group on the following day programs were systematic and clear. Overall we like this EU trip!

Tour: 13D10N Highlights of Eastern Europe Travel dates: 10-22 Sep 2019 Tour Manager: Sabestian Mak This was a very enjoyable trip indeed! Our tour manager, Sabestian, was experienced and always showed care and concern to all members of the tour. He shared interesting and amusing stories during the long coach rides to keep us entertained, and even provided useful tips on how to protect ourselves against ‘professional’ pickpockets. He also went out of his way to allow us to capture the beautiful night scenery of Budapest! Over the course of the tour, he demonstrated excellent time management, resulting in a smooth and seamless trip with practically no hiccups. All in all, I would definitely recommend EU Holidays and would certainly go on a tour with them again in the near future

Tour: 13Days 10Nights Highlights of Easter Europe Travel Dates: 10 Sept 2019 Tour Manager: Sabestian Mak An awesome and enjoyable trip in eastern Europe led by our tour manager. He was knowledgable as he was able to share with us the history of Europe. He is very responsible and takes great care of his tour group. He reminded us daily to keep a lookout for our personal valuables whenever we are embarking from the coach. He ensured smooth hotels check-in and even sort out the rooms for us so that family members could be either on the same floor or just next to each other. He will also recommend nice restaurants and food to us. He took the extra mile to walk us to Fisherman's Bastion which is a 15minutes walk from our hotel for some really beautiful night view of the city. This is my first time with EU Holidays and i definitely enjoyed myself. It was overall a great tour and I would definitely recommend EU Holidays to my friends and families. And most importantly, i would like to thank Sabestian our tour manager for making this trip an awesome one!

We like to thank Mr. Dyan Teoh for taking good care of us during the Eastern Europe Tour from 3 to 15 September 2019. This is our first Europe trip and never anticipated a lot of walking and climbing steps but with Dyan’s concern and caring, he gave us the confident to carry-on. He is always there when we needed him. He is very knowledgeable, focus, friendly, safe-conscious, patient and tremendously helpful. EU had found a right person to take care of us. We will definitely appoint EU Holiday to arrange for our future tours and also recommend to our friends and associates.
