Assemble at the airport and take
off to Taoyuan, Taiwan. Upon
arrival, transfer to hotel and rest
for the day.
Beautiful sceneries await you
while passing through the rice
paddy fields as you ride on the
train to Taitung. Spend some
time at the Jialulan Recreation
Area which is now one of the
most popular hangout places for
you to enjoy the ocean breeze
and takes photos together with
the unique driftwood artwork.
Romantic evening can be
enjoyed at the nearby Tiehua
Music Village while strolling
along the art market. Enjoy some
relaxation at the Zhiben Hot
Spring in your hotel. The hot
spring water here contains weak
alkaline carbon which is a beauty
enhancing ingredient!
Enjoy the dance performance this
morning by the Bunun
Aboriginal Tribe while continuing
to interact and learn more about
the tribe, trying their aboriginal
cuisine at the meantime.
Something interesting awaits you
next at the Rice Country School where you get to learn about rice
and experience the DIY
packaging of rice. You will even
get 1 free bag of rice as a souvenir!
Cycle and enjoy the greenery at
Mr Brown Avenue before
heading over to Hualien and
spend some time exploring
Dongdamen Night Market, the
largest night market in the
county.
Highlight of the day is a visit
Taroko National Park, renowned
for its mesmerizing scenery and
you may explore the famous
sights such as the Swallow Grotto
and Chang Chun Shrine. Go to an
Aboriginal Center before taking
the train from Hualien back to
Taipei. There are 4 major volcanic
hot spring areas at
Yangmingshan and today we
head up to the hot spring at
Yangmingshan National Park
where you can experience an
outdoor hot spring (kindly bring
a towel, swimsuit, and swimming
cap). Shopping time today is in
one of the most hype shopping
districts, Ximending!
This morning, walk along the
Jiufen Old Street and enjoy all
the famous street food Taiwan
has to offer. If you are a cat lover,
you are in for a treat at the Houtong Cat Village Station,
where lots of cats, cat themed
cafés and gift shops are located.
Hop onto a train ride from Shifen
Branch Station to Shifen Railway
Old Street and upon arriving, you
can experience the release of Sky
Lantern (4 pax to 1 Lantern).
Finally, visit the Tianlu Art Centre
to learn about the various type of
Tianlu and what is their
functionality before grabbing
your last-minute souvenirs and
products from the local product
center.
