Begin your holiday with a pleasant flight to Sydney, the ‘harbour city’ of Australia.
Upon arrival, join a tour to cover the city sights and historical landmarks – drive past Chinatown, St Mary’s Cathedral, Darling Harbour and see the famous sails of the Sydney Opera House. Make a stop at the Mrs Macquarie’s Chair for a superb bird’s-eye view of the beautiful Sydney Harbour. Thereafter, enjoy browsing the offerings at Paddy’s Markets, known as one of Sydney’s biggest markets with a central place in Sydney's history for over 150 years. You’ll find a wide variety of stalls hawking food, fashion, gifts and gadgets in a true market atmosphere. Next, make your way to The Grounds of Alexandria for dinner. Located in a former industrial precinct from the 1920s, The Grounds of Alexandria is a landmark coffee roaster, café, bar, eatery and kitchen garden known for its abundance of fresh produce. Take a stroll through the lovely gardens boasting luscious floral arrangements, quaint water fountains and even a small animal farm. Note: Paddy’s Markets is closed on Mon, Tue and Public Holidays.
This morning, visit the famous Bondi Beach to see the Bondi Graffiti Wall, an interesting space showcasing vibrant graffiti and street art. Next, proceed to the world-famous Sydney Fish Market, the largest market of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere and the world's second largest seafood market in terms of variety outside of Japan. Experience the equally impressive onsite food service offerings, which include a range of cafes and restaurants offering seafood-centric snacks and meals such as fish and chips, sashimi etc. Thereafter, proceed for your GoBoat experience. The boats are easy to operate and slow-moving, making for a breezy, relaxed sailing session. There’s no easier boat in the world to drive than the specially designed GoBoat, and you don’t need a boat licence or experience – everyone can do it! Continue to visit the Birkenhead Point Brand Outlet to enjoy a bit of shopping therapy at more than 120 of these premium brands while enjoying the spectacular views of the harbour while having the best of fashion, food and lifestyle all under one roof.
Today, enjoy a free day exploring Sydney at your leisure. You may wish to join an optional tour to visit Blue Mountains National Park, which is renowned for its scenic beauty. Enjoy the gorgeous scenery of the densely forested Jamison Valley and spot the fascinating rock formation, the Three Sisters.
After breakfast, meet the herd of over 70 friendly and adorable alpacas at Iris Lodge Alpacas. Get up close and personal with these fuzzy animals as you hand feed them their favourite treats like carrots and bananas, as well as other farm animals like sheep and calves. Then, proceed to FiresCreek Winery for your Chocolate & Wine Pairing. You’re in for a decadent experience as you enjoy four unique wines, expertly paired with four individual handmade chocolates. Learn from the wine expert how the wines are made and how different wines pair best with different chocolate. Thereafter, proceed to Holbert’s Oyster Supplies. Look out the large windows to see the professional oyster shuckers at work, then purchase some to take on the road with you or eat alfresco style at your own cost onsite with a view overlooking the stunning Port Stephens.
This morning, make your way to Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters, an interactive aquarium that allows visitors to meet sharks and rays first-hand. Enjoy a guided tour and educational adventure where you get the opportunity to pet and feed the sharks and rays. Then, embark on a Quad Bike Sand Dunes Adventure. Take a trip to the biggest sand dunes of the Southern Hemisphere at Port Stephens’ Stockton Beach. Explore the freshwater lagoons, hidden site and other key vantage points in the region with your guide while learning about the history and geography of the area. You may wish to join an optional for camel riding experience. With soft, silky sand at the beaches, the environment is perfect for riding a camel, and the kids will love it!
Start the day at Oakvale Wildlife Park for an unforgettable experience with the whole family! See all kinds of farm animals, mammals, birds, and reptiles. Hand-feed lambs at the Feeding Stadium, play with baby bunnies at Farmyard Nursery, and step into the Nocturnal House to look for possums, sugar gliders, and quolls. Thereafter, board the local Sydney Ferry ride to Luna Park, where you can take in all the stunning sights of Sydney Harbour. Have some fun at Luna Park, an amusement park for children and the young at heart. If you wish to go all out to experience all the rides here, the best way is to purchase an ‘unlimited rides’ pass at your own expense. Afterwards, follow the boardwalk to Lavender Bay for a scenic shot of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House with a foreground full of moored boats. Next, proceed to 6HEAD Steak Restaurant - Sydney’s number one premium waterfront steakhouse, to indulge in the ultimate steakhouse experience in a beautiful dining space overlooking iconic Sydney Harbour.
