Assemble at the airport and depart for Zürich, Switzerland’s financial centre.
Upon your arrival, visit Zürich, the largest city in Switzerland. Relish in the sights of the beautiful yet compact city, the marvellous architecture, and the glittering turquoise lake. Take a stroll down the Old Town and drop by Bahnhofstrasse, an exclusive shopping boulevard where you’ll find your favourite luxury brands. Thereafter, travel to Bern to enjoy an orientation tour of the city – explore its UNESCO World Heritage Old Town on foot and see the Bear Pit, the astronomical clock tower Zytglogge, Einstein House and the House of Parliament.
This morning, excite your taste buds at Maison Cailler – the wonderful world of Cailler chocolate where all your senses are indulged. Hear the fascinating tales of François-Louis Cailler, who brought the first chocolate recipe to Switzerland in 1819, then round off the visit with a Cailler chocolate tasting session. Next, visit The Patek Philippe Museum, experience a journey through five centuries of watchmaking. The museum gathers the most prestigious creations of the brand’s master watchmakers as well as an extraordinary collection of watches, musical automata and enamel miniatures from the 16th to the 19th centuries of Genevan, Swiss and European origins. After which, set off on an orientation tour of the gorgeous city of Geneva. Strategically situated by the shores of Lake Geneva are many international bodies such as the World Health Organization, International Labour Organization and International Committee of the Red Cross. Don’t forget to see the magnificent Jet d’Eau, the highest fountain in the world, and the lovely Flower Clock.
After breakfast, journey on to Montreux for a photo stop before paying a visit to the 1000-year-old Chillon Castle – an oval shaped masterpiece positioned on a small, rocky outcrop that pokes into Lake Geneva. Indulge in a novel experience of wine tasting inside the castle. Next, pay a visit to Barryland, home to the famous St. Bernard dogs! You'll get to explore the history of the Swiss national dog, watch the dogs frolic around in the park grounds, stroke a St. Bernard and even have a picture taken with them! Retire for the night in Brig.
Begin your day with a visit to Zermatt – an old, idyllic village nestled in a deep valley enclosed between steep mountains and situated right at the foot of the Matterhorn. A special, car-free place that is best explored on foot, Zermatt draws you in with its charming, cobbled streets and lovely horse-drawn carriages, presenting a scene straight out of a storybook. Take a scenic train ride up to Gornergrat at 3,089m for a stunning panorama featuring the Monte Rosa massif comprising Switzerland’s highest peak; the second largest glacier in the Alps – Gorner Glacier; and a total of 29 mountains peaking above 4,000m that also includes the Matterhorn in all its glory. Finally, enjoy some free time exploring Zermatt at your leisure.
Prepare to be blown away by some of Switzerland's most beautiful vistas as you board the renowned Glacier Express today. From the extra large windows of the panoramic carriages, you will be taken past majestic mountains and deep gorges, delightful plains and crystal-clear lakes before you step off in the rustic village of Andermatt. Thereafter, make your way to Interlaken for an orientation tour of the scenic resort town that is presided over by the mighty Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains. As night falls, enjoy a 4 course Swiss fondue combo dinner at the Swiss-themed Bebbis Restaurant.
Enjoy the rest of the afternoon exploring the beautiful surrounding mountain region freely or take the opportunity to try out some of the various sports activities offered here. You may wish to join our recommended optional trip to the “Top of Europe” on Jungfraujoch, where you will be awestruck by the most amazing views of the alpine wonderland. Optional: Jungfraujoch
Today, journey to Lucerne and embark on an orientation tour with your tour manager – visit the Chapel Bridge, the oldest wooden bridge in Switzerland and the Old Town with its unspoiled buildings covered with colourful murals. Here, you will also find Bucherer, the largest duty-free store in Switzerland. Later, drop by to see the Lion Monument – a monument to commemorate the valour of the Swiss mercenary soldiers who lost their lives while serving King Louis XVI during the French Revolution. After that, you may also wish to go on an optional trip to Mt Titlis to round up the day’s activities. Optional: Mt. Titlis
Our first schedule of the day is to undergo the requisite Covid-19 test together as a group. Thereafter, spend the rest of the day doing some shopping or sightseeing in Zürich at your leisure. Just back from 11D8N Switzerland Dream Tour with tour manager, Kevin Cheng (aka The Gentle Giant) today. This tour can't be smoothly completed without the dedication and best effort from our tour manager who is always ready to go the extra miles to get things done! Kevin is always ready to answer our questions even after we check into the hotel and even after 12am!! Appreciated his kind assistance always and we look forward to the next vacation with EU Holiday!!

Alina Tan

Just came back from 11D8N Switzerland tour and Kevin our tour leader was superb. He tried his best to accommodate my request regarding seating arrangement for the flight to and fro, which another tour (not EU) I joined previously did not take the effort to arrange for me. Really enjoyed the trip and highly recommend

Just completed a 11D8N Switzerland Dream led by Tour manager Kevin Cheng… I would like to commend and thanks him for job well done despite the few hiccup during the trip. A good tour Manager does make a world of different. Also special shout out to Dawn, the Sales staff that handle our booking. Thanks for making the extra effort and time to assist us to secure our booking. To Management of EU holiday, congrats to you for having such wonderful and motivated staffs. However, do review your list of hotels as one of them was not suitable as we have some elderly in our group. We enjoy ourselves and will surely come back to you for our next holiday…

A fantastic and enjoyable tour that lead by the best tour manager we ever met. My wife and I had been traveling to Europe with Chan Brother Travel for the past 20 years. However this is the first time we wish to try out EU. We didn’t regret our choice. Because no words to express our gratitude to meet a friendly, warmth and professional tour manager like Kevin

Just completed a 11D8N Switzerland Dream tour with Kevin Cheng, our tour manager. Kevin is helpful and looked after the group well. Appreciate his effort to create a detailed itinerary with estimated travel time between each location. This helped us to manage our expectation on the traveling time. Thank you Kevin!

Christine See

Our tour manager, Kevin Cheng, is patient and caring towards our tour group and is fast in responding to unforeseen situations. He also attentive to our needs. For example, he would find alternative paths for those who are unable to take the stairs. He really made the tour enjoyable and memorable for my family and I.

We are a family of 4 and it’s our first experience traveling with a Guided Tour group. We met the most amazing tour-mates during this trip. Indeed it we felt that we were traveling with family and friends. The tour led by Jiafu exceeded our expectations in many ways. We brought our two boys age 3 and 6 along. During the trip, Jiafu was attentive to our needs as a family with young kids. I remembered him changing our boys’ menu to more kid-friendly meal for them. Very thoughtful of him. During the group, Jiafu was also competent in bringing the tour group to ascend and descend the Alps safely. He prepped us very well before ascending. Even with that, we faced difficulty breathing at high elevations. Jiafu then suggested to bring the tour group down early by taking an earlier train ride. We felt so much better after descending. Kudos to our experienced tour manager for making the call to ensure our safety. We were also impressed by his vast history knowledge which he shared with us passionately on the Coach and we learnt much from him. Throughout the tour, we felt that we were in his good hands. Jiafu served us with his heart. We look forward to more EU tours with Jiafu !

Switzerland Dream - a very enjoyable tour overallItenary - leisurely and well covered with comfortable coach rides of <2.5 hr. However, the 1.5 hr ride on Glazier Express was a disappointment (mostly going through tunnels) and the optional Black Forest tour is a waste unless one likes shopping).Hotels - all reasonably good except Ambassador Hotel in Zurich (the bathroom is not user-friendly, especially for the elderly).Meals - acceptable. Worth comments are the Debbis Interlaken Restaurant (good food and great entertainment by the boss) and Asia Food restaurant in Luzern (one of the best tour-catered Chinese food I tasted while on western tours).Tour Manager - Jiafu is an excellent guide. He switches effortlessly from English to Mandarin even in his explanation of European history and name of places. He was attentive to individual queries and requests, and was often seen mingling with different groups during free and easy times. His interest and knowledge in watches will be beneficial if one intends to shop for watches.

It was an amazing Dream Tour in Switzerland. We had a great time... all the activities were well planned and executed smoothly...big thanks to our Tour Manager, Jiafu. He took great care of our safety and well being, always response to our questions promptly via whatsapps even before our trip start. Great sharing on Swiss and watch history (NB. This guy is a watch fanatic

Had a super excellent time on this tour with my family. We were blessed with perfect weather and our super experienced tour manager Jiafu, who helped us get to some of the best scenic spots (even some that are not in the itinerary). Jiafu also imparted his vast knowledge on history and watches. He’s also always watching out for our safety and getting us to our destinations on time. Two thumbs up!This is the 2nd time traveling with EU holidays to Europe. Highly recommend to anyone who is skeptical about tour groups, EU holidays will not disappoint.
