Assemble at the airport and take-off to the cosmopolitan city of Spain, Barcelona.

Experience Barcelona in its full splendour through a tour, where you can view the lauded art nouveau style buildings such as Casa Batlló and Casa Milà along the elegant Passeig de Gràcia avenue and enter the statuesque La Sagrada Familia church and be wowed by the stunning interior. Marvel at the towering Columbus Monument and the impressive Monumental Bullring before heading up to Montjuïc Hill for a spectacular vista of the city and its harbour. Then, visit the Santa Caterina Market before make your way to Las Ramblas, a treelined pedestrian mall that stretches for 1.2km along the street in central Barcelona.

Note: If La Sagrada Familia is closed, it will be replaced with a visit to Park Güell.

Browse the bespoke boutiques of the sophisticated shopping center at La Roca Village. Peruse all of the shops within this stylish and spacious complex and save percent off the recommended retail price of luxurious designer brands. You may also wish to pay an optional visit to the Monastery of Montserrat located in Catalonia.

Note: Factory outlet close on public holiday and Sunday, outlet replacement is subject to change without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Driving along the Mediterranean coast, we will stop by Peniscola, a town is located on the Costa del Azahar, north of the Serra d’Irt. We stop here and enjoy the beautiful coast. Embark on a sightseeing tour of Valencia where you can admire the unique Gothic exterior of Valencia Cathedral, and stop
for some photos at the imposing Towers of Serrano or Cuarte that were designed as defensive structures along the old city walls.

Journey to the Troglodyte Town of Guadix to visit the famous Cave Houses of Guadix. These cave houses are build up in the hills and they are named as the Troglodyte Quarter (Barrio Troglodyte) of the city. The cave houses have been built for over a thousand years. They were hollowed out of the rock and then a wall would be built at the front of the cave to enclose it. Then we proceed our way to Granada.

Embark on a city tour as a local guide brings you to visit the Alhambra Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where varying transformations come about as the light and water create different
decorative effects on the special clay walls. Then, move on to the Generalife and be wowed by the lush greenery and sprinkling fountains in the extensive gardens of the leisure residence that belonged to former Arab kings. Depart to Córdoba, an important Roman city and an Islamic cultural centre during the Middle Ages. Meander around the squares and alley streets in the Historic Centre of Córdoba and proceed to enter the grand Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, an important testament to the presence of Islam in the West and a unique artistic achievement of its time due to the sheer size and height of its ceilings. As night falls, head down to Seville to spend the night.

Note: The entrances of Alhambra Palace and Generalife are subject to availability.

Make your way to Ronda, an ancient city located about 750 meters above sea level, and make a beeline for the Puento Nuevo bridge to enjoy a thrilling view of the 100-metre deep El Tajo gorge and a breathtaking panorama over the Serranía de Ronda mountains. Pay a visit to the Plaza de Toros de Ronda, one of the oldest bullrings in Spain and learn more about the bullfighting sport at the inhouse
museum. If time permits, you may wish to take part in an optional excursion to the city of Gibraltar. Gibraltar, one of the most unique destinations in the Mediterranean, you’ll experience great Gibraltarian hospitality along with the proud British traditions.

Set off on an introductory city tour and take in the sights of the Plaza de Toros, an impressive bullring that took several decades to construct, and the Plaza de Espana, a building complex that is a beautiful work of Spanish Renaissance Revival style in architecture. Also, visit the majestic Seville Cathedral, where the burial tomb of Christopher Columbus is also located, and enter the Giralda bell tower, one of the three remaining Almohad minarets in the world. Enjoy a smooth drive as we continue our journey to the capital of Portugal, Lisbon.

Today explore the Lisbon City and stop by Lisbon’s most iconic monument, the World Heritage Belem Tower, and also not forgetting the Jeronimos Monastery with its exquisite cloisters, the Discoveries
Monument built in honour of Henry the Navigator. Enjoy the lively atmosphere of Rossio Square, the medieval alleyways of the Alfama quarter, the impressive view of the Castle of São Jorge, the outstanding Cristo Rei, and the scene of swaying cruise boats docked at the Port of Lisbon. Enjoy the rest of the day for some shopping or you may also join an optional tour out of Lisbon to the medieval village and coastal towns. Marvel at the sheer coastal cliffs of Cabo do Roca. Explore the medieval town of Sintra and visit Cascais, a well-preserved fishing village dating back to the 12th-century to learn the history of this charming coastal town and admire Portugal’s stunning coasts and beautiful beaches, which line the shores from Estoril.

Embark on a stroll through Fátima to arrive in one of the most important Catholic shrines in the world, the Sanctuary of Fátima. Here, you will be greeted with the sight of the Berlin Wall at the entrance, followed by the Chapel of Apparitions at the very heart of the sanctuary where four million pilgrims
converge yearly. Depart to Salamanca, Enjoy an idle walk through the university town for a close-up view of the splendid Baroque architecture in Salamanca’s Plaza Mayor, the Old and New Cathedral, the University of Salamanca and the House of Shells.

Head northwest to Segovia for an orientation tour of the historic city and visit the 2000- year-old Aqueduct of Segovia, one of the most significant and bestpreserved ancient Roman monuments on the Iberian Peninsula. Whip out your camera for the magnificent sights of the Segovia Cathedral and the Alcázar of Segovia, before settling down for a sumptuous meal of Segovia’s famous Roast
Suckling Pig for lunch. Then, proceed to Madrid for a guided city tour which includes the Royal Palace and its lavish gold and scarlet throne room as well as the Cibeles Fountain which is one of Madrid’s
most prominent symbols. Also, drive past Santiago Bernabéu Stadium – home to the Real Madrid football club, for a fleeting glimpse into the heart of Madrid culture. Continue to El Corte Ingles, the biggest department store group in Europe for your shopping fix.

Enjoy the rest of your day at your leisure till it is time to transfer to the airport for your flight home. If time allow, you could also take a trip out to Toledo, also known as the city of three cultures – Arabic, Christian and Jewish – and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Comprehensive tour to see the whole of Spain and Portugal but could have spent less time outlet shopping mall (4hrs plus too Long) and shopping areas with just the major expensive brands. More shopping in areas where there mix of cheap and expensive brands would be good.Tour manager is very knowledgeable about Europe, she provided us many insights on Spain, Portugal and other European countries. She is very good photographer too, helped us take many post-card photo worthy photos! And she tries her best to customise food and tour for each of us. Thanks very much Rhiny!

This was our 3rd time joining a Europe tour by EU Holidays and had been the best. Special thanks to our Tour Manager, Paul for making this a relaxing holiday.Though he was away in Europe leading another group before ours and will only be able to meet us on the day when we arrive at Barcelona, he got in touch with tour members one week before the departure date.During the tour, he repeatedly reminded us to take care of our belongings. Every night, he whatsapp us a simple itinerary and weather forecast for the next day. He would also inform us that breakfast is ready in the morning, ensure that tables are arranged for big group for breakfast and even give up his own table to tour members as the restaurant is small. He offered to take pictures for us so that we do not have to “wefie”, shared his knowledge on destination that we went and experience on how to avoid jetlag, bought snacks to share with everyone for long journeys, prepared extra coins in case required for toilet stop and organised a mini Xmas party to break the ice within tour members. Before the end of the tour, he held a quiz with prizes to “test” our knowledge. To ensure a smooth process in our VAT claim, he checked every single piece of VAT claim form for all the tour members. One of our tour member’s luggage was delayed, he provided guidance on the insurance claim process though he was still on his way back.Every small unnoticeable act that he has done is to ensure that all of us have a enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Though he has been leading tour groups one after another during this season and ours is the last for the year, he did not show tiredness and always greet us with a smile everyday…. this shows that he has a passion for his job.
